Surf City Collision Center in Huntington Beach is currently seeking a highly motivated experienced full time body shop painter's helper for our high-volume, fast-growing Body Shop.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Complete all paint preparation processes for vehicles according to factory specification including the direction of the mentoring Paint Technician and by following the written repair order 
• Keep Management updated on the status of assigned vehicles and assisting in problem solving to keep all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery 
• Adhere to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal 
• maintain a clean and organized workspace 
• Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. in order to complete quality work 
• Review estimate to ensure all operations listed have been completed and verify the panel/parts to be painted 
• Verify repaired areas are finished to company standards 
• Identify all areas of the repair that may require additional corrosion protection 
• Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician

Requirements:

• Must have 4 years of experience.
• Must have a valid CA driver license.
• Must be able to work multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Must be able to pass the pre-employment background, drug test and physical exam.
